Gridcoin's anonymous founding father, Rob, built the first version of the Gridcoin network. This was officially launched October 16, 2013, and now referred to as Gridcoin Classic. He has continued to be involved with core development ever since to ensure Gridcoin reaches its full potential.
Ravon has a background in automotive-, industrial- and heavy machinery software engineering, and has a soft spot for weak hardware. He now leads the core development team full time.
An avid gamer and father of two, Ifoggz turned his long time interest in BOINC, computers and programming towards developing the research blockchain. He considers himself a cryptocurrency enthusiast, and strong believer in Gridcoin's mission, community and wallet. Specialises in C++, Bash and Linux.
Brod is a student at Brno University of Technology, currently developing the Gridcoin core as part of his continued pursuit of everything encompassing crytography, decentralization and distributed systems.
Caraka has been involved with gridcoin since the first linux wallets became available, finding a niche contribution maintaining the debian/ubuntu builds. He is both a cryptocurrency and a BOINC enthusiast, with CPUs at 100% since 2006. He is also an active politician fighting against climate change and wealth disparity.
Huppdiwupp has extensive experience with UX design, and currently works on perfecting the Gridcoin wallet UX experience across all platforms. He is a Linux enthusiast and a strong free software advocate.
Bgb started researching in the distributed computing network with SETI before BOINC even existed - way back in the 90s - and continues crunching today. He was drawn into the Gridcoin project as it combines BOINC and cryptocurrencies - two of his lifelong interests. After Gridcoin evolved from Gridcoin Classic to the Gridcoin we know today, he became more involved and eventually built the open-source, zero-fees pool from scratch.
With an interest for BOINC since the early days, Startail came across Gridcoin in the summer of 2016. Sporting a background in webpage development and experience with servers, he quickly started the Gridcoin Explorer for the community.
